PocketPiano

PocketPiano

This is a 87-key professional piano, made up of 10 modules which include a complete piano and 2 pedals. The key is in its design, divided into modules, so that only the octaves that are needed are connected. In addition, the sensitivity of its keys makes it the closest thing to a Grand Piano. And when you finish playing, you just have to store it in its case, which fits in a backpack.

In Innou We are very happy to collaborate in the final phase of industrialization, user testing as well as in the realization of the packaging, brand image and the web/ecommerce. It has been a tough road like any disruptive product and we wish you all the success you deserve.

Playing the piano anywhere: what if it were possible? Josep Bergadà, son of a family of musicians, began to play the piano obsessively at the age of 22. He was studying business, and in the library he thought: "I could be playing the piano now." He began to think of a solution. What if he could play the piano anywhere, anytime?

Josep felt the need to play whenever he had a free minute, but the piano he had at that time was at his parents' house, 40km away from him. So he imagined the piano he needed to be able to unleash his passion for music. And so PocketPiano was born. After four years of continuous development of the project together with the Eurecat technology center and numerous professional pianists, is finally on sale.

PocketPiano's mission

PocketPiano aims to change the paradigm so that you can play the piano wherever you are. The qualities of the Grand Piano, the resources of several coordinated teams in Barcelona and current technology have been brought together to create the next generation of piano.

How does it work?

1. Assemble it: Use the controller module with the octaves you need; they are connected to each other by magnets.
2. Connect it: Sync your piano from your smartphone, tablet or computer, using your favorite DAW app, such as GarageBand.
3. Touch it: create, rehearse, perform. Sound is output via headphones, speaker, smartphone or tablet. Dimensions

PocketPiano is sold in a box measuring 20x20x32 centimetres, weighing 3.9kg, and when assembled it has dimensions of 16.4 centimetres wide and 131 centimetres long. In addition, it is the first portable piano on the market that has pedals and key sensitivity. In order to play it, it is not necessary for all the modules to be connected, that is, you can mount the ones you want depending on what you need at the moment.

Where can I buy my PocketPiano?

The sale is made online through the website www.pocketpiano.com. In addition, as a result of the collaboration with Jorquera pianos, can also be purchased at their physical store in Barcelona, located at Calle Ferran Agulló, number 10. Thus, those who want to try it before buying it, can do so at this establishment.
